Romeo Valentino
I was born in 1978. In Crescent City, CA. but I grew up in Simi Valley, CA.
I didn’t draw much until I was in the 4th grade. There I drew mostly Garfield cartoons as he was my favorite character. I still own most of those rectangular Garfield books! I remember during that time the children paid me in quarters to draw them what they wanted.

1998:
I attended two drawing and composition classes at Moorpark community college where I studied under Frank Sardisco. There I created art mostly in charcoal, pencil and prismacolor (colored pencil).

2002:
This was the year I really began to create some art! The Ant Farms, The Glow Worms and The 12 Apostles were my first collections. Everything else came to me in day dreams and even sometimes within an earlier piece of art just like The Ink Blots.

2003-2006:
I began to LIVE paint at The Cafe TuTu Tango up at the Universal City Walk in Universal Studios, Hollywood. This is where I got a taste of what it was like to sell art! I mean to have someone look at something I made with my bare hands and enjoy looking at the colors and/or subject matter and purchase it to take home or their office. It’s absolutely a wonderful feeling.
2007-2009:
I began a co-op gallery in North Hollywood,CA called CARPE ARTE Gallery with talented artists and we held monthly art shows and quarterly events. Short film festivals, LIVE Art and Music shows, etc.
Present Time:
I now live and reside in Copenhagen Denmark where I still show and sell my artwork there.
